Cara is the owner of C. Wittwer Law Office, Ltd. Chartered, a law office that practices exclusively in the area of family law. She attended Hamline University, located in St. Paul, Minnesota, graduating in 1985 with a double major in Business Administration and International Relations. After graduation, Cara attended law school at William Mitchell College of Law, (now Mitchell/Hamline School of Law) graduating from the evening law school program in 1989.
After Law School:
After law school, Cara was employed as the judicial law clerk for District Court Judge Dale Mossey in Sherburne and Wright Counties. Clerking offers real-life exposure to all areas of law and the experience was invaluable. Cara realized through that experience that family law was the area of practice suited for her. Cara worked at several wonderful small law firms, beginning with a firm located in Annandale, and moving on to firms located in Edina, downtown Minneapolis, and Buffalo, Minnesota, respectively.
Now in Delano:
In 2014, Cara decided it was time to open her own firm and now practices in Delano, Minnesota. Cara's goal is to provide her clients with experienced, caring, personalized representation, in combination with clear, focused and effective advocacy.
Consultations:
Cara offers free 30 minute consultations during which time we can determine if she is the right person to assist in meeting your needs.
Representation:
Cara represents clients throughout Minnesota — primarily located in Wright, Sherburne, Hennepin, Anoka, McLeod, Carver, Dakota, and Meeker counties.
